Below you will find two sets of stats for AOLA. The first set
is for completions from the beginning of 1999 through 2003.
I believe this is the first time I've been able to present
you with an accurate 5 YEAR stats report, and I would
have been completely unable to do this without the aid
and assistance of the beautiful and brilliant Kristi Wachter
and her marvelous program HORTON (Holder Of Records,
Tallier of Numbers).
For those of you unfamiliar with AOLA, is the Advance
Organization in Los Angeles and it's purpose is to deliver the
OT levels. As you can see it has delivered a few other courses
over the past few years but it's main stat is the number of OT's made.
I've laid out the stats ( the top section) so that it reflects the way
"The Bridge" is laid out or the way one would progress "Up The Bridge".
Total Service Completions by Year
1999 977
2000 733
2001 1028
2002 1714
2003 1669
As you can see AOLA has in fact been upstat in delivering
more services over the past 5 years.
In 2003 there is a slight dip in the stats but overall it is very
much on the up swing.
I think is information is important for those of you that think
that Scn is in it's death throes.
I might agree that many of the Class V orgs are doing really
poorly and are just hanging on but there are in fact other
areas where Scn does not have ARSCC (wdne) members and
in those area, Scn is doing ok to well.
And while it is being reported here that OT's are leaving in
"droves", I personally have not seen that. My view on this is,
if OT's are leaving in droves than how come not one of them
has come to ars to tell us about it. Not even anonymously.
We do have a couple of new critics here on ars that are
definite assets, but I would think more would be here
and posting if there were"droves" leaving.
From what I can tell, but with no specific statistical information,
these stats do not reflect a lot of NEW people onto
"The Bridge" but instead shows Scn attempt to round up all
the Clears and OT III's that are still very much in Scn but
weren't doing much, and got them "revitalized" or more accurately
re-indoc'd and got them doing services again. But again this is
just an educated guess without specific names and numbers to
prove my point.
When I look at the number of Clears AOLA has made,
I came to realize that there is no way they can keep producing
these high numbers of OT's if they aren't making Clears. Keep
in mind that AOLA is not the only org is make Clears. All Class V
Orgs can deliver the Clear Certainty Rundown and some of them
actually do "make Clears" but there is no indication that it is
happening in "volume" so these numbers either way, are just pitiful.
